Project Description: Rice-Eccles Stadium Structural Repairs is a maintenance-focused project on the University of Utah's football stadium. Work consists primarily of rust remediation and repainting of handrail posts, base plates, light tower structures, and miscellaneous steel connections throughout the seating bowl and concourse levels, along with traffic coating repairs to deteriorated deck and stair areas, replacement of deteriorated grout pads at column base plates and raker beam bearings, installation of missing or damaged structural elements (angles, bolts, bent plates, bearing plates, and cover plates), concrete patching and epoxy crack injection at select locations, expansion joint repairs, and stone veneer repair/replacement at isolated locations.

Bid Alternate #1- Additional stair traffic coating areas beyond the high-priority base scope items. All work must be performed during normal business hours while the University occupies the facility.

All personnel working on the USDC Campus must pass a BCI background check and sign a contractor’s agreement. Each firm working onsite must sign a HIPAA agreement.

Garr Ranch blacksmith shop was originally built in the 1880s. This project is to help preserve the history of this site by keeping this building from ruin. The scope of work is to stabilize the structure and prevent further damage from existing cracking in the masonry.

A-Z Building Blocks is building a new location in Salt Lake City at Liberty Corner.

This tenant improvement project is approximately 11,000 square feet and is located on the bottom two levels of a new construction building. The project consists of classrooms, play areas, offices, restrooms, a kitchen, laundry, and storage.

Plumbing rough-in is expected to be completed before the tenant improvement project begins. Please include rough-in plumbing as an add alternate to cover the cost if that work is not performed prior to the start of the tenant improvement work.
