A-Z Building Blocks is building a new location in Salt Lake City at Liberty Corner.

This tenant improvement project is approximately 11,000 square feet and is located on the bottom two levels of a new construction building. The project consists of classrooms, play areas, offices, restrooms, a kitchen, laundry, and storage.

 

Plumbing rough-in is expected to be completed before the tenant improvement project begins. Please include rough-in plumbing as an add alternate to cover the cost if that work is not performed prior to the start of the tenant improvement work.

Utah State Board of Education Interior Project

Scope of work consists of remodeling and refurbishing of the board of education building, including:

Replace the existing wood doors and hollow metal frame located in the basement to open office 028 & 010 with new door, frame, and hardware.

Replace the existing failing cooling unit equipment in the 3 data closets in the building. This includes the basement and the upper 2 floors.

Provide new cooling unit to the comm closet. This modification includes the updates required to enclose this space with 1 hour rated walls and ceilings to address new use of this space.

Replace all of the existing electrical lights in the basement and stair areas that are not currently led fixtures with like fixtures.

Electrical modifications to accommodate the new cooling unit equipment.

 

No Additive Alternates 

 

Trades involved in this project: demolition, masonry repair, doors and frames, drywall and metal studs, ceilings, flooring install only, painting, fire sprinkler relocation, HVAC, electrical.

ARUP Dumpster & Parking Lot Upgrade

This project involves comprehensive upgrades and improvements to an existing parking lot totaling approximately 20,000 square feet. The scope of work includes:Construction of a new dumpster enclosure on-site. Replacement of existing concrete sidewalks and curbs. Installation of new landscaping and irrigation system. Upgraded parking lot lighting for enhanced visibility and safety

ARUP Building 615

Mechanical Upgrade

The scope of work includes upgrading the mechanical chillers (Provided by ARUP) and expanding the mechanical enclosure to the south to accommodate the new equipment, as well as constructing a new electrical room addition. (ARUP is responsible for all MEP work)

 

The trades involved in this project:

demolition, cast in place concrete, masonry, lintels, steel beams, metal deck, insulation, TPO roofing, metal flashings, hollow metal door and frame, drywall, paint, earthwork. 

 

The construction schedule is approximately 90 working days.

Start: January 20th, 2026

Chillers installed by: April 2026  

Completion: May 29th, 2026
